Year 3 2021 - 2022

Our class charity - The Canal and River Trust
Many of our teaching units this year have a link to water; canals, rivers, the water cycle and lakes. Therefore, The Canal and River Trust is our chosen class charity.
The Canal and River Trust have set us a challenge for which you can earn a Challenge Badge. You must complete an activity in each of the different areas linked to the canal. Some of these, such as canal art, will be done in school.
Each time you complete a section your carer or teacher can sign the record card. When you have completed all 6 activities, you will be awarded your badge.
As The Canal and River Trust are our class charity this year, an extra challenge for you is to collect sponsorship money for completing your activities. The money can then be collected in and donated to The Canal and River Trust to help them carry out the wonderful work they do to maintain our canals and keep them safe and well looked after.
Please take a look at the PDF below to find out about some of the activities that you can choose to do.
Thank you for all of your support,
Mrs Carter and Mrs Foster
