PTA

The St Francis Parent and Teacher Association (SFPTA) is a friendly group of parents, carers, grandparents and teachers who voluntarily organise fundraising activities throughout the school year. These events include the school fairs, discos, movie nights and bake out.  Our children have a great time at these events and the funds we raise go back into the school to enhance their primary education.  The money is spent in many ways. In the last few years it has provided some of the iPads that are used in class, it has upgraded the lighting system used in our nativity productions and it also partly funds class trips so the cost is kept reasonable for parents.  We are only a small group at the moment and are always looking for extra help and new ideas. You really only need to give as much time as you can spare.  Some of us are regular volunteers and some people help out as and when they can.  If you can spare any time to get involved with us it would be greatly appreciated.  If you are interested in joining the PTA you can send an email to pta@stfrancis.blackburn.sch.uk or leave your details in the school office and we will contact you.
