In Autumn 1 we are learning all about Change.

We are wondering about:

How things are the same and different. 

Things that change (plants, animals, objects, people)

How and why things change.

We will be learning the Nursery Rhymes Humpty Dumpty and Twinkle, Twinkle as well as the Traditional Tale of Jack and the Beanstalk. 

We will be reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Goodnight Moon,

Dear Zoo and Jasper's Beanstalk.

Autumn 1 Home Learning Challenges:

See how many Nursery Rhymes you can learn. 

Have a Nursery Rhyme sing-a-long or performance with your family.

Find rhyming words in Nursery Rhymes and write them down.  

Act out a Nursery Rhyme through role play or using your toys. 

Draw pictures of some of the Nursery Rhyme characters. 

Click on the picture to find some Nursery Rhymes you can  sing along to.

Count how many hops you can do without putting your foot down. 

Count how many star jumps you can do in 30 seconds.

Practise the hopscotch pattern: hop, jump, hop, jump, hop, jump...
