Over the last term, Year 6 have been taking part in a Young Enterprise topic which has seen the Year 6 classroom divided up into 5 mini businesses. Each group was given a budget of £10 to invest in materials in order to create a sellable product. We are very pleased to say that all the groups have completed some market research, designed a product and are now in a position to ‘hit the market’ and sell their goods to us all.
Please, please, please can you offer you help and support to our Year 6 pupils by attending their ‘selling day’ on FRIDAY 15th JULY 2016. The groups will be open for business and setting up their stalls in the Reception Covered Play area from 8:30am. They will be selling to the ‘school public’ each playtime, lunchtime and afterschool. Prices range from 30p to £2. This is a competition and the most successful group will be crowned the Young Enterprise Champions for 2016 and will keep their profits (not matter how big or small they may be!).
Mrs Embley-Peers would just like to add a personal disclaimer that the goods bought are non refundable and are sold as seen!
Hope to see you all soon
