Autumn 1 Learning

Our Topic for Autumn 1 is Change.

We are wondering about:

How things are the same and different.

Things that change (plants, animals, objects, people)

How and why things change.

Some ideas to talk about:

We will be learning the Nursery Rhymes Humpty Dumpty and Twinkle, Twinkle as well as the Traditional Tale of Jack and the Beanstalk.

We will be reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Goodnight Moon,

Dear Zoo and Jasper's Beanstalk.

Our Class Poem - A Spider Bought A Bicycle

Image result for spider     Image result for black bicycle cartoon     Image result for earwig cartoon

A spider bought a bicycle,

He had it painted black.

He started out along the road,

With an earwig on his back.

He turned the pedals round so fast,

They travelled all the day.

Then he took the earwig off his back,

And put his bike away.
