At St Francis, we have listened to feedback from Parents about 'leaflet saturation' concerning sporting opportunities, which were increasingly filling school bags each week. During 2017-18 we reviewed the way in which we want to promote opportunities for our pupils - in particular, how they access sport and physical activity beyond the school gates.
As a school with strong values about the role of emotional well-being, fun and fair play in sport, we have chosen to promote a set of 'Strategic Sports Partnerships' with local organisations that we trust to show the same values and commitment to your children as we do.
Listed below are the organisations which we are happy to recommend for your child, if they wish to pursue sport beyond our current school offering. These groups are run by individuals or committees that are known to staff at St Francis, and who have given up time to meet with us to explain how their visions and values complement our own.
If you have any questions about these groups, please get in touch with our PE Coordinator (Mr Wootton).
