Each year, St Francis participates in the Blackburn with Darwen 'Celebration of Dance' - a huge event which draws schools and their pupils from across the Borough to perform in front a large audience at King George's Hall.

This year, under the supervision of Mrs Algar, her daughter Tia (a former pupil) and Mrs Havard, St Francis will be running an after school club for its most talented dancers in Key Stage 2, in order to prepare a routine for the event. The pupils will practice on a Tuesday night after school club (3.30-4.30pm during Spring Term I and II, commencing 17th January 2017) and perform at King George's Hall on 7th March 2017.

In 2013/14, St Francis performed a routine called - 'With Flying Colours' - was choreographed by Miss Lowes and the pupils involved and was a massive success. In 2014/15, St Francis then performed a routine based on 'Technology' using the Dolly Parton hit '9-to-5'. in 2015/16, the school performed a routine called 'Rogue Troopers' - you can watch this performance below!
